AQR was established as TCA Consultants Ltd in 1989. They have evolved into one of the world's leading edge international test publishers and business consultancies. AQR now offers a range of innovative and accessible psychometric tests, tools and development programmes, designed to enable the very best performance from people and organisations.

In recent years AQR has expanded within the UK. AQR products and services are also available in more than 25 countries around the world, Steps4ward is the principal partner for AQR products and services in Oman: AQR products are translated into several languages enabling them to be used by more than 75% of the world's population.

AQR has developed close working relationships with Dr Peter Clough Head of Psychology at the University of Hull, the Institute of Leadership and Management and View Assessments Inc. of Canada (one of North Americas leading developers of occupational tests).

Doug has more than 30 years experience in a variety of Line, HR & Consultancy roles with a number of blue chip businesses. In 1989 he founded AQR (as TCA Consultants) now recognised as one of the most innovative (and fast growing) test publishers in the world. 

Doug's areas of expertise include development of Psychometric Tests and Programmes -playing a key role in developing MTQ48 and ILM72, Organisational Development, Senior Management/Leadership Development and Top Team Assessment and more recently, within the Education Sector. 

Doug is now working in the education sector to develop programmes and approaches which attend to student wellbeing /satisfaction, employability, performance and transition.
